The Best Temperature for Wine
Serve wine at the correct temperature.
You’ve probably heard the rule of thumb that white wine needs to be refrigerated and red wine should be served at room temperature.
While that is in theory true – most people serve white wine too cold and red wine too warm. If you’re outside and it’s a summer day, you certainly don’t want your Pinot Noir reaching “room temperature.” The same holds true for white wines – your favorite Chardonnay should not be as cold as the milk in your fridge!
